We are offering telephone consultations whenever possible in order to give appropriate medical advice and to limit contact between vulnerable people and possible cases. There is a CNS charge for this which can be reimbursed in the usual way.
We can all reduce the risk of passing on or catching any respiratory infections by practising good hygiene:
- Regular hand washing with soap & water or alcohol based hand rub
- Keep a distance from people coughing or sneezing – at least 1 metre
- Avoid touching nose, mouth and eyes
- Respiratory hygiene : cover nose and mouth with a tissue or bent elbow if coughing or sneezing. Dispose of tissues immediately. Wash hands.
- Stay home if you feel unwell
We hope this information is helpful. There will be regular updates on the above websites.
